Join us for the Martin Barnes Awards as we celebrate 30 years of NEC with an evening dinner and drinks ceremony.

The Martin Barnes Awards, named after the "father of NEC", recognise excellence in project delivery and showcase examples of good practice through collaboration from across the world. You can find out more about the categories and view past winners here.

Being shortlisted at our Awards is a real achievement and testament to the great work carried out by the individual, team, project, collaboration, or organisation. If you have a project that you would like to be considered, click here to view our submissions page and apply.
Applications for this year's Martin Barnes Awards have already closed on Friday 14th April 2023.

The ceremony includes a cocktail reception, 3 course dinner, the Martin Barnes Awards presentation, and after-dinner entertainment. All while being held at the historic One Great George Street, the grade II listed, four-domed, Edwardian conference centre that is home to ICE.

Attendees can book table of 10 above. Users’ Group members receive a 25% discount as per their membership tier, however this is not applied automatically. Please contact us for to recieve the discount code. Tables need to be booked by Wednesday 28 June.

Individual places are also available. Please email us to secure your place. Please note Individual tickets are allocated at random. If you would like to be seated with another guest then please specify this in the email, however we cannot guarantee placement.

Dress code

Dress to impress. Business attire is expected, black-tie optional.

NEC Annual Conference 2023

This year's high-profile international event will be a celebration of 30 years of NEC, featuring presentations showcasing key case studies, whilst also looking ahead to the future.
