Covid-19 Guidance Video

Covid-19 Guidance Video

Following on from the guidance document produced in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Peter Higgins has compiled a short video on the repercussions for the construction sector and those using NEC Contracts, and the actions that can be taken now.

He considers the management of existing contracts and those looking to enter into new contracts, focusing on the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) and also addressing the Term Service Contract (TSC).

In the video, he discusses the procedures that should have happened and what good practice would be next. Specifically, he examines the secondary option X2 and details the NEC processes following changes to the law.

Peter Higgins, NEC4 Contract Board Chair has produced a short guidance document for projects being procured using NEC in the current global pandemic. He outlines the use of Clause 19 and how it can be applied in this situation.
